…where anything is possible and the mantra goes something like:
“Out with the bland and in with the bold”.
Being a young headstrong female can be a drag if you hang around a lot with toxic draggy drama queens. What worked for me is I started playing big with the boys and that’s what will drag you further out of your shell.
(word of the moment: DRAG… has anyone else noticed?)
Strangely enough, a lot of these old boys often discourage me from tackling what I do because “it will never work”. What the f*^%??!! So to all those people, this next sentence is dedicated to you.
You’re all idiots!
Truth is, just because I wear Mulberry and Balmain doesn’t mean I’m all air. Sorry to disappoint all “die Dummkopfs” but this little girl right here has substance. And whether you like it or not, you’re just going to have to deal with the fact that a little girl can do the job better than you lot have been doing for the last 30 years of your life. You’re also just going to have to deal with the fact that the more you mock me, the more amused and galvanised I get.
So, a tip to all the people struggling for encouragement at the moment, whether you’re a male or female – carry on pushing through that ceiling. If you’re not stoic enough to handle criticism, save yourself the grief and never tell the doom and gloomers your goals because one day, your achievements will speak for themselves if you just keep at them.
Last but not the least, I often remind myself that I’d rather die young and exhausted knowing that I’ve given life my all – THAN live long regretting that I’ve just sat and watched life from the sideline…
